On March, 15 2012 in the information agency “Ukrinform” the expert toloka “The Assesment of environmental policy in the countries of the Eastern Partnership”, dedicated to discussion of process of implementation of reforms of environmental policy in the framework of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) Flagship Initiative on good environmental governance in six countries of EaP and analysis of the main achievements and failures in reforming environmental policy in the context of European integration.

On November 29, 2011, the side event of WG3 “Assessment of environmental performance in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine according priorities of EaP Flagship initiative on Good Environmental Governance” took place.

WG 3 «Environment, energy and climate change» of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum held its meeting sessions on 28–29.11.2011 in Poznan with participation of 29 members.

The Seventh UNECE “Environment for Europe” (EfE)s Ministerial Conference took place in Astana (Kazakhstan) from 21 to 23 September 2011.

3–5 September 2011 Bonn, became the host city for the 64th Annual United Nations Conference for Non-Governmental Organizations associated with the Department of Public Information (UNDPI), on the theme “Sustainable Societies; Responsive Citizens”.

The annual UNEP Regional Consultation with Major Groups and Stakeholders (RCMs) for Europe took place on September 2, 2011, in Bonn, Germany. The president of Ukrainian National Environmental NGO «MAMA-86» Anna Golubovska-Onisimova together with more than 100 representatives of major groups and stakeholders took part in the meeting.

Ukrainian National Environmental NGO (UNENGO) «Мама-86» had prepared comparative analyses of the Draft National Environment Action Plan for 2011-2015 (NEAP), submitted to the Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine (CMU) by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine (MoE) after agreement with the all central governmental authorities (CGA) and discussion with the public and the final version of the NEAP approved by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

On the road to Rio+20

Representatives of the Ukrainian National Environmental NGO “MAMA-86”, jointly with the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine, Research Institute for Problems of Markets and Economic and Environmental Studies under the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the “Green Dossier” International Charitable Organisation held a training seminar for journalists.

On June 24-25, 2011 the Expert workshop “Eastern Partnership CSF Working Group 3 assessment of environmental policy reform in 6 partner countries” was conducted in Kyiv.
