June 5, 2013, Kyiv — Experts summarized the round table discussion on solving the problem of electronic waste in Ukraine up to European standards, which MAMA-86 had held on May 30, 2013, in Kyiv within the framework of the Project "Public lobbying of application of the European approaches to the solution of the problem of electronic waste in Ukraine," implemented with support from the International Renaissance Foundation's European Program.

May 30, 2013, Kyiv — A round table in the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Conference Hall focused on approaches to solving the problem of electronic waste in Ukraine up to European standards. The event was organized and conducted by the Ukrainian National Environmental NGO "MAMA-86" within the framework of the Project "Public lobbying of application of the European approaches to the solution of the problem of electronic waste in Ukraine," implemented with support from the International Renaissance Foundation's European Program.

May 17, 2013, Vinnytsya — Representatives from the MAMA-86 Chemical Safety Program Olga Tsygulyova and Denys Pavlovsky took part in events of the European Information Center in Vinnytsya dedicated to the celebration of the Europe Days in Ukraine – a news conference and a conference on "Implementing an e-Waste Management System Based on the Experience of Poland" (www.myvin.com.ua/ua/news/events/21008.html, vn.ukrcei.org/maintheme/vpershe_u_vinnici_startuvav_proekt_zi_zboru_vikoristanih_batareiok.html).

30 травня 2013 року о 10:30 в м. Київ (вул. Володимирська, 55, Великий конференц-зал Національної академії наук України) відбудеться круглий стіл з обговорення підходів до вирішення проблеми електронних відходів в Україні за європейськими стандартами.

В рамках проекту «Громадське лобіювання впровадження в Україні європейських підходів до вирішення проблеми електронних відходів», який реалізує Всеукраїнська екологічна громадська організація «МАМА-86»за підтримки Європейської програми Міжнародного фонду «Відродження»  підготовлено огляд «Сучасний стан політики поводження з електронними відходами в Україні та Європейському Союзі: кроки до зближення».

April 25, 2013, Kyiv — The MAMA-86 Head of the Chemical Safety Program, Olga Tsygulyova, made a report on electronic waste problems at the round table "Hazardous Waste Management in Ukraine," held within the framework of the International Ecological Forum "Environment for Ukraine."

March 3-27, 2013, Stockholm, Sweden — For three weeks, 26 participants from 10 Eastern and Central European countries, as well as Uruguay, underwent training under the Sida's Advanced International Training Program on "Strategies for Chemicals Management." Two of three participants from Ukraine represented MAMA-86.

27 лютого 2013 року на сайті Мінекономрозвитку опубліковано проект Закону України «Про особливості державного регулювання синтетичних миючих засобів та товарів побутової хімії», який визначає правові засади здійснення державного регулювання у сфері поводження із синтетичними мийними засобами та товарами побутової хімії.
