May 10, 2013, Kyiv — Germany's international broadcaster Deutsche Welle on its Ukrainian web site published a story by Olha Vesnyanka on the problem of electronic waste in Ukraine – "Why Don't Ukrainians Know How to Dispose of Used Batteries?"

A significant part of the story is based on opinions expressed by MAMA-86 Head of the Chemical Safety Program Olga Tsygulyova and Executive Director Zoriana Mishchuk.

In particular, the story uses materials of the project "Public lobbying of implementation of the European approaches to the solution of the problem of e-waste in Ukraine" implemented by MAMA-86 with support from the International Renaissance Foundation's European Program. Ms. Tsygulyova is leading the project.
