In the framework of the 6th International water forum in Marcel (March 2012) the Third international film contest will take place. The International Secretariat for Water (ISW)* invites film directors, film producers, water experts, youth and everybody who want to express their vision of water problems to take part in this contest.

The motto of the 6th World’s Water Forum — «Time for decisions». What can better than visual image present all existing decisions, local and regional solidarity actions throughout the world, present simple idea of a man, woman or a child, that led to the changes for better, or even a funny story, which proves life-giving power of water for people and nature?

The contest is open for everybody and the participation in it is free. The deadline for registration — November 30, 2011 on the web-site www.riec-iwfe.org, International Secretariat has to receive films before December 31, 2011.

The International jury will award 16 prizes (27 600 US dollars in prizes) at the special ceremony at the 6th World’s Water Forum. Everybody can vote at the web-site. The public presentation of films will be held in Marcel and its suburbs, in France and at the international level in 2012.
