29 November 2012, Rome – On 29 November the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Gheorge Salaru, and the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, Mr. Eduard Stavytskyi, signed the bilateral Treaty on Cooperation on the Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Dniester River Basin.

Станом на 27 листопада 2012 р. до ВЕГО «МАМА-86» надійшла 81 робота з 19 навчальних закладів м. Києва та 3-ох навчальних закладів м. Красноармійськ Донецької обл.

Розпочався прийом робіт на конкурс «Всеукраїнський юнацький водний приз 2013», національний етап Міжнародного конкурсу « Stockholm Junior Water Prize 2013».

This year Global Handwasing Day celebrates its 5^th anniversary.

Термін закінчення конкурсу перенесено на 1 червня 2013 року.

18–19 вересня 2012 р. в м. Києві відбувся міжнародний науково-практичний семінар «Ключові питання якості води та способи їх вирішення». Організаторами семінару виступили Асоціації «Укрводоканалекологія» та «Питна вода України», ТОВ «Ватер Поінт» при організаційній та фінансовій підтримці фундації німецько-польської співпраці FWPN – SfDPZ.

The 4^th Dnieper Forum of NGOs from three countries of Dnieper river basin took place on 6–7 July 2012 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Dnieper Forum was timed to annual Dnieper Day celebrations and the 20^th anniversary of UNECE Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes (Water Convention) adoption.

UNENGO “MAMA-86” held a number of educational and informational activities on the occasion of the Water Day.

On April 12, 2012 the seminar-training on Water Safety Plan (WSP) was held in Kyiv.
